Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Using HealthByte

You must be 18 or older to create an account and place orders. By using HealthByte you agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for lawful, personal healthcare purposes.

2. Prescription medicines

Schedule H, H1 and X medicines require a valid prescription. Orders containing them are dispensed only after verification by a registered pharmacist, and may be rejected if the prescription is invalid. Controlled substances (Schedule X) are subject to additional checks and dispensing records. Misuse, resale, or attempts to obtain medicines without a valid prescription are prohibited.

3. Consultations

Online consultations follow the applicable Telemedicine Practice Guidelines and are not a substitute for emergency care. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Doctors may decline to prescribe where remote prescribing is not appropriate.

4. Lab tests

Tests are processed by accredited partner labs. Reports are made available to you digitally and should be interpreted with a qualified clinician.

5. Payments, cancellation & refunds

Prices are shown inclusive of taxes. Payments are handled by our payment partner. You may cancel an order before it is dispatched; refunds for cancelled or undeliverable orders are processed to the original payment method per our refund policy.

6. Liability

HealthByte facilitates pharmacy, consultation and diagnostic services. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for clinical outcomes; the prescribing doctor, dispensing pharmacist and partner lab remain responsible for their professional services.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: support@healthbyte.in.

This is a starting template — have it reviewed by legal counsel and aligned with your pharmacy, telemedicine and diagnostics licences before launch.
